I work with young adults and adults experiencing a variety of concerns. I am especially passionate about topics surrounding relational distress, whether it be romantic relationships, friendships, family challenges, or attachment concerns. I also enjoy working with maladaptive coping mechanisms (ie: substance use, risky behaviors, procrastination) to explore the root cause of distress and develop healthier alternatives.
You can expect me to be an empathic listener who is genuinely interested in your life. I will provide you with psychoeducation, giving you the tools and empowerment to make sense of your own experiences. I find value in a person-centered and strengths-based approach, with additional strategies of motivational interviewing, psychodynamic and ACT.
Whether it be exploring how past experiences have shaped us, focusing on ways to cope with present day stressors, or a mix of both, I’m excited to walk alongside you on your journey.
