As a queer, Indigenous licensed clinical social worker, I am aware of, and continue to educate myself on, the systemic issues that impact a person’s quality of life. I aim to implement this understanding into my therapeutic work at an individual level.
I focus my practice with clients around being trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with a particular focus on trauma, grief, relational stress, and life transitions.
I integrate evidence-based approaches, including DBT, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, the Gottman Method, mindfulness-based interventions, and client centered practices into my sessions. As a therapist, I tend to be authentic and direct with my clients while trying to stay warm, compassionate, and inclusive. I look forward to connecting with you!
