About
We are all searching for ways to lead fulfilling lives, but sometimes we struggle to find the things that will help sustain us or the obstacles of life can begin to feel overwhelming. As a therapist, I help to identify the things that nourish each individual and act as a partner in learning strategies for moving through the difficult times. I strive to maintain empathy, compassion, and openness with each of the clients I work with and value a collaborative relationship that allows my clients to steer treatment in the direction most useful to them.
I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I use my training as a foundation to integrate other specific treatments in an eclectic approach and tailor therapy to each client's specific needs. I offer individual, couples, and group therapy for adults and youth 14 and older.
I specialize in working with people in the LGBTQ community and I aim to create a safe space to explore gender and sexual identities. I work with many issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, coming out, gender affirmation, and gender transition.
