I'm an autistic Licensed Professional Counselor & trained Neurofeedback Provider who works with women & femmes who feel like they’re always the overwhelmed oddball out. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and depressed and start guiding you to where things feel manageable again. I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I'm human. I've been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help. As a therapist, I believe you are worthy of love and care, you are strong enough to be present with what's happening, and that people underestimate their ability to change.
I provide talk therapy as well as neurofeedback training (NFB). NFB is an approved course of treatment for common symptoms including ADHD, anxiety (OCD, GAD, PTSD, phobias), depressive symptoms, managing unpleasant emotions, and more! I'd love to explain more via email about how this modality can help with experiences that may seem unchangeable.
Especially for those of us who are neurodivergent, life tends to feel exceptionally difficult. NFB seems to quiet the brain's fear pathways, which get in our way so often. What if our brains could calm down so our lives could actually feel easier? (Not all clients are neurodivergent)
