Hi, My name is Alyson. Therapy helps uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow them to deal with the challenges that arise in life. A successful therapy experience does not mean a client is cured, it means the person has the inner and outer resources to deal with the ups and downs of life. My goal is to help my clients develop the skills necessary to successfully deal with life, on life's terms.
My treatment modalities are client-focused and specific to each presenting problem. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. I have training and experience utilizing a wide range of theories and therapeutic techniques.
Therapy is an intimate experience, a collaboration between you and the therapist. I take that role seriously and understand that to do my best work, I need to understand each client holistically. I feel like my biggest asset is the ability to see a client's strengths, empower them to achieve their goals, and support them throughout the therapeutic process
