Therapy is hard and is a brave step to take for yourself. Trusting a therapist to not only help but be with you as you navigate the hard is also challenging. I have been working as a mental health therapist for over 10 years in a variety of clinical settings and am well-versed in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain or health issues, and working through difficult life events. While my dark sense of humor and directness tends to lend itself best to military, first responders, and health care workers, I am versatile and capable of with a variety of clients and client needs. It is very important to me that therapy be a collaborative approach and I take a lot of time to make sure you understand the "why" behind your treatment approach. I am trained in EMDR therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and am a licensed Acudetox Specialist.
