I am a New York State Licensed Psychologist and founder of Skinner Psychological Services, PLLC. My diverse range of clinical training experiences led to specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and/or co-occurring mental health and neurodevelopmental (Autism/Asperger's, ADD/ADHD) conditions across the lifespan. My commitment to lifelong learning is reflected by integration of research within the scope of my clinical practice and ongoing efforts at community outreach. All work I do is deeply rooted in my passion for providing highly individualized interventions to foster clients' accurate self-understanding and growth to potential.
Within a collaborative, strengths-based framework, I offer distinct expertise in comprehensive diagnostic and neuropsychological assessment, educational planning for unique and twice-exceptional (2e) learners, and consultation/training in treatment implications of co-occurring conditions. I consider client advocacy to be a natural extension of the clinical interventions I provide.
My training interests throughout doctoral training in counseling psychology at University of Albany encompassed family therapy, disruptive behavior management, and trauma-informed interventions for youth with chronic and severe mental illness. These, and many other diverse experiences, comprise a strong foundation for specialization in differential diagnosis and multi-system interventions.
