I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder at Operating With Love. I am deeply committed to advancing social justice within the field of mental health and substance use treatment by challenging systemic barriers and promoting equitable, compassionate care for all. A graduate and adjunct professor of Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Addictions, I integrate my lived experience with mental health and substance use into both my clinical practice and advocacy efforts.
I specialize in trauma, substance use, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems-informed EMDR, and integrate these with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Harm Reduction Psychotherapy (HaRT) and Somatic Experiencing to meet each person’s unique needs. I aim to create an inclusive, nonjudgmental space that supports healing.
I understand what it feels like to vulnerably ask for help and know firsthand the importance of having a supportive, non-judgmental therapist willing to partner with you instead of pretend to know what is best for everyone. My work centers on honoring autonomy, reducing stigma, and creating systems that empower rather than exploit.

Harm Reduction Therapy Group Centered on Wellness
This group is a free hybrid group that uses harm reduction psychotherapy to explore how to improve overall wellness. We meet weekly on Fridays at 1pm to discuss improving relationships with substances, how to navigate trauma symptoms in a healthy way, and how to honor your values when society is full of stressors and systemic barriers for being who you want to be.
