Hi, I’m Alysia. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist accepting new clients in Connecticut and North Carolina. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or trying to make sense of difficult experiences.
I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with complex trauma and significant mental health challenges, as well as adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I’ve worked in outpatient, residential, and home-based settings, which allows me to adapt my approach to meet you where you are.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps process trauma and reduce the emotional impact of distressing experiences. I also draw from a variety of approaches to best support your individual needs.
My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s been holding you back and build the tools you need to move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
