Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Slippery Rock, Pa and I have continued to practice within the use of cognitive based therapy for over 22 years. I assist adolescents to adults with managing symptoms and negative thinking patterns associated with depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts which can remain a barrier towards your desired outcomes.
I specialize in decreasing thought distortions that lead to anxiety and teaching coping skills to assist in managing anxiety symptoms as they present. I work most often from a strength-based approach in supporting clients as they learn to identify and challenge beliefs and experiences, which can drive depressive symptoms.
