Discovering your spouse's infidelity has left you reeling. You find yourself looking at your spouse and wondering who they are. You’re filled with anger, hurt, and judgment about their actions. But upon reflection, you’ve realized that — between work responsibilities, caring for your children, and life in general — you and your spouse have both been running on auto-pilot in your marriage, and you've undeniably grown apart. You can see now that there have been major problems in the relationship before the infidelity happened. You want to work it out, but conversations at home turn into fights full of blame and defensiveness.
Here's what we'll do together: Phase 1: Rebuild trust by answering questions about the affair, information gathering, showing real remorse. Phase 2: Address the pre-existing marital issues (conflict management, friendship, recurring problems, trust, etc.). Phase 3: Safely re-establish emotional and physical/sexual intimacy.
I offer therapy intensives (extended therapy sessions) for effective and powerful change for infidelity recovery. Intensive therapy often reduces the amount of time couples therapy takes because you make progress faster. You don't have to spend years in counseling. (Please note, insurance is not accepted for any services.) Contact me today to schedule.

Couples therapy starts with three 90-minute sessions that make up the assessment phase of therapy. The subsequent sessions consist of interventions that will ultimately support you in healing from infidelity and rebuilding a stronger relationship. Recovery from infidelity takes anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on your individual relationship dynamics, as well as how often we meet.
