I love what I do and have been in the mental health field for 20 years. Your story is beautiful and unique. It shows how you got to where you are, your strengths, what you have endured/overcome and I would love to hear it. I will guide you to unlearn negative thought patterns and behavioral reactions, gain self acceptance, and to communicate thoughts and feelings more effectively to encourage healthy coping and relationships in your life. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, some Saturdays. I will do by best to accommodate your schedule.
My treatment focus uses the modalities of CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and EMDR. These are the most researched techniques and have the most supporting evidence. Whoever you choose to see, look for these particular techniques and research them for yourself!
I am always encouraged by the change I see in my clients, the connection we develop, and the genuine care I have for each one. I hope that if you are going through a difficult time, that you do not hesitate to call. You will find someone who cares.
