Every family has challenges; through the therapeutic process, families can learn new techniques and skills to better support their loved ones.
I specialize in working with family systems of all sorts, with a focus on increasing the communication and support in those relationships to better manage stress and other persistant issues. I work with individuals building their own self esteem or exploring their sexual or gender identity.
I also offer individual and group supervision for LLMFTs.
I often use humor and metaphors to help increase understanding of patterns and dynamics in relationships. As a strength-based therapist, I work with families to honor their abilities and find ways to use those strengths to support and connect with those around them.
