My passion is serving children, teens, their families, & young women through fostering healthy emotional development, self-esteem, creative solutions, & healing. I offer counseling services for children (3+), adolescents, & their parents. My approach focuses on establishing an atmosphere of safety & acceptance to provide my clients the space to work collaboratively with me towards their goals, positive growth, & overall wellness. Within this relationship, I assist my clients in challenging & replacing thoughts, feelings, & behaviors that are keeping them from a living a fuller, more satisfying life.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Masters in Counseling from the leading counseling program in Texas & the world renowned Play Therapy program at the University of North Texas. I was privileged to intern under leaders in the play therapy & filial field. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology & minors in Neuroscience & Spanish at Texas A&M.
Seeing clients on T, W, Th, & Sat. Some sliding scale spots available for those who qualify. Specialties include: Play Therapy (especially with 3-7 year olds), expressive arts therapy with pre-teen/teen girls, & EMDR-Sandtray with children.
