Hi my name is Ally Dzurka and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC for short). I believe that you are the most important tool in the therapeutic process meaning that you're identity, beliefs, strengths, and values are at the core of your ability to heal. Thus, I take a person-centered approach to treatment which involves first developing a trusting relationship and getting to know your unique strengths. My areas of focus include relational trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and parenting support.
The clients I feel passionate about working with are teenagers developing their sense of self, teenagers and adults recovering from relationship trauma or experiencing relationship challenges, teenagers and adults with experiences of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
The environment that I create for my clients is welcoming and flexible. Client's tend to feel a sense of ease and belonging when working with me due to my nonjudgmental and gentle - yet comfortably challenging - style.
