Considering therapy is a big step and finding a therapist who matches your needs is an important part of the process. I specialize in working with new parents through pregnancy and postpartum, also have experience working with adoptive parents. The journey into parenthood can simultaneously be filled with joy and uncertainty. Changes in mood, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts are common as one navigates this enormous life change. It may feel isolating at times, and you do not need to face this alone.

I am a psychotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical, teaching and research experience. I work with individuals experiencing an array of circumstances and challenges. One of my specialties is counseling people with a focus on those in high-risk professions (e.g., law enforcement, fire/rescue, EMS, military) and their loved ones. I also work with a broad range of individuals employed in other “helping professions” (e.g., medical and mental healthcare providers, veterinary medicine professionals, educators, prosecutors, clergy) whose careers may have been negatively impacted by job and/or personal circumstances.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst who specializes in depression, anxiety, stress-management, family issues, co-dependency, self-esteem, executive functioning, anger management and Asperger’s/High Functioning Autism.
