Welcome! My name is Allison, and I am an LPC in the state of Texas. As a therapist, I believe it is important that we challenge ourselves and do hard work while also giving ourselves grace along the way. I enjoy working with those struggling with an eating disorder, body image distress, anxiety, and life changes. If this sounds like you, let's work together! In our first session, I will be gathering information to learn about you and what has brought you to counseling. We will work on setting goals and a plan for moving forward. Remember, this is YOUR session, so I will provide as much or little guidance as you would like.
I do not use one therapeutic approach in work with Clients. My goal is to get to know each person as a unique individual and provide care and support that works best for them. I am also happy to incorporate faith into treatment, if desired.
I enjoy working with individuals who may be struggling with an eating disorder/disordered eating, body image distress, life changes, or anxiety. I have experience working in a residential treatment center for those diagnosed with an eating disorder.
