I do my best to approach clients with a balance of empathetic and understanding acceptance, honest directness, and humor - bringing my own humanity into the room - to allow for a feeling of relational ease and transparency. I don't believe that I hold the key to others challenges. However, I do believe that I am skilled at directing others to learn to listen to and trust their own wisdom and ability to work towards a more holistic and fulfilling life, despite difficult circumstances. I see my role as a holder of safe space, and a collaborator with my clients in curating a meaningful, accepting, and empowered relationship with self.
I am passionate about family therapy with teens15+ and parents, supporting folks through grief and loss and life transitions, and being an advocate for the queer and gender non-conforming community. I believe that the radical acceptance of self in all of our humanity is a powerful tool in the journey of breaking down barriers for personal growth and healing.
