I believe in providing a compassionate and supportive environment in which people can address their concerns in counseling. I try to meet all of my clients where they are at, and believe in utilizing humor and honesty to make counseling a collaborative process. I value being genuine, and work to break down clinical terms and skills into everyday language that is easy to understand and practice. Clients that see me typically want to work on things like anxiety and mood disorders, depression, self-esteem, and challenges with substances.
I utilize a variety of evidenced based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in an integrative approach to address each client’s specific needs.
I enjoy working with individuals struggling with a variety of needs. It is my goal to provide a safe and supportive space to address their presenting concerns.
