About
I have over 18 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adoption, and transitional life events. I have extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I work from a relational, strengths-based approach. I strongly believe in the power of yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation to soothe the mind and body. I honor each person's individual journey and always meet them where they are in the process. My therapeutic approach is one of openness, collaboration, and most of all, trust.
I have specific training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). CBT is a highly effective, evidence-based model used in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. DDP is an attachment-focused therapy for complex trauma, Reactive Attachment, and other attachment issues.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and the fact that healing can and does happen. I consider myself to be a compassionate, empathetic, and caring person. I promise to provide you a safe space, whether you have been to a therapist previously or if this is your first time reaching out for help. Don't suffer in silence; help is here.
