My practice offers a variety of treatment options based on the client's needs and goals. After a thorough assessment some of the following treatment options may be recommended: individual psychotherapy, family therapy, marriage counseling, divorce counseling, or group therapy. Dialectic (DBT) and Cognitive (CBT) behavioral therapy techniques and practical interventions used in sessions will provide the client with tools and coping strategies to use between sessions. The therapeutic experience will assist clients with facilitating long term change, reducing anxiety and improving interpersonal relationships.

Parent consultations and family therapy sessions address topics such as: effective discipline/limit setting, sibling conflict, supporting socially vulnerable children, transitioning young adult children towards independence, parenting and advocating for children with mental health issues and or learning differences.

As a behavioral therapist and trained family mediator I provide couples a structured and safe environment to discuss their relationship deficits or conflicts. DBT skills are incorporated into sessions to facilitate emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness in order to better understand one another and obtain relationship goals.

This in-person support group addresses topics such as: social anxiety, depression interpersonal effectiveness skills for romantic and peer relationships, obtaining personal goals, balancing social, family or work expectations, family stress and other topics of interest to the group. This is a high functioning , supportive and inclusive group. Live action DBT skills will be incorporated for interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance.
