I became a therapist because I believe that we are all longing for connection, and to be seen and valued. I believe that in the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship people can develop the skills they need to feel more at peace and to connect more deeply with others. In my practice I integrate mindfulness practices to help clients learn to better cope with stress, enhance their well-being, and improve overall balance and equanimity. I work with adults of all ages on a variety of issues. I have a particular passion for working with helping professionals and caregivers to support the unique needs of caring for others.
Using a client-centered, compassion-based approach, I work with each unique client to find a treatment model that works best for them. I utilize a generalist approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Self Compassion, Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behavior Theory.
Trust, safety and connection are the foundation of a therapeutic relationship. Please feel free to schedule a free consultation to help you decide if I'm the right fit for you.
