As your therapist, my goal is to provide an individually-tailored approach by accepting you as you are and helping you transform into the best possible version of yourself. Life tends to be a mixture of peaks and valleys, which can be challenging. You do not have to embark on your journey alone. It is important to find fellow humans who respect, support, and care for you. I know it is difficult to jump right into therapy, so my approach is to go at your pace. I will challenge you to push yourself, but in a way that is helping you grow in your journey, not making you feel like you aren't strong enough, because you are.
I have counseled individuals from ages 4 to 70+, who have come from a variety of backgrounds and struggles. My primary areas of clinical focus are on anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma. I utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I am trained in EMDR therapy.
I truly understand how challenging it can be to begin counseling, or even re-start counseling. I hope you are proud of yourself for taking the initial step of even just considering embarking on this self-improvement journey. Please do not hesitate to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation with me so I can answer any questions you may have.
