Currently Accepting New Clients. Hi there! I'm Allison, currently practicing therapy virtually from Southeast MN. I specialize in treating persistent mental health conditions like co-occurring mental health and addictive disorders, borderline personality disorder, and complex trauma.
Many of my clients struggle with codependent relationship patterns. They learned these survival strategies early in life, but now, it feels impossible to imagine a different way. Reflecting on this leads to feelings of guilt, anxiety, and never being “good enough.”
When you notice these patterns, but can't seem to shake free, it's time to come to therapy. My style is relational and direct, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based therapy (PE, CBT, DBT). Therapy will start with a thorough evaluation of your current life circumstances and how your symptoms and coping skills have worked in the past.
