Stress and anxiety can be a part of life. However, sometimes a person will find themselves drowning in feelings of loneliness, hopelessness and fear. Sometimes these feelings and thoughts become are so overwhelming that people literally feel held hostage by despair. People become paralyzed with fear unable to make a decision because of self-doubt. People lose the will to face the day stop taking care of themselves. My typical clients range from teenagers to adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management issues, ADHD, PTSD, codependency, poor stress management or coping and other various mental health conditions.
My approach is individualized, and trauma informed. My treatment modality is eclectic, but usually involves the following theories; Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focused, Adlerian and Transactional Analysis. I have 16+ years of experience in mental health field including ER, inpatient, outpatient and in home.
My mission is to empower those struggling to foster their own strengths and resilience, and and become the best version of themselves. I aim to meet the client where they are, find out where they want to be and work with them to make this vision a reality. I want people to know that they are not alone, help is available and it gets better.
