Allison enjoys seeing clients who have felt that 'talk therapy' has not worked for them in the past, this is due to her conscious, somatic, and psychoeducational approach to treatment. "I view my clients in a holistic, systems-based way in sessions, recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to our physical health, spirituality, relationships, and environment. I incorporate EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, and psychoeducation from CBT/DBT, to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs."
In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and collaborate on the best approach for your needs. Our initial work often involves psychoeducation and skill development, followed by deeper work to process emotions and trauma through mind-body integration.
