My name is Allison Osborne, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, therapist, and substance use disorder professional. I am committed to providing a trauma informed approach to the unique needs of every client. My work focuses on recognizing how trauma has impacted your life either directly or indirectly and using trauma informed perspectives to address those needs. Additionally, I take a client centered, solution focused approach to helping clients recognize goals, learn skills and tools to address their challenges and begin recovering from the emotional pain and discomfort that they feel.
The theoretical basis I use is grounded in Attachment Theory. Some of the interventions that I apply include, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic processing, and interpersonal and social rhythm therapies to name a few. Each client is individual, and the appropriate care will be unique to everyone.
I am passionate about helping clients recognize their value and walking with them down their journey of recovery. I find great joy in the lightbulb moment. When something clicks with a client and all of a sudden everything makes sense. I want to help you feel seen and heard in a nonjudgmental way.
