About
With a special interest in relationship issues, trauma recovery, anxiety, and anger management, I provide a warm, non-judgmental and supportive environment for healing. My clinical approach is psychodynamic, client centered, holistic and relational. I also utitlize interventions from Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing, with a deep understanding of trauma, family systems and attachment theories.
I am also deeply inspired by the work of Susan Cain (author-Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking!), and Elaine Aron (The Highly Sensitive Person) and love working with individuals that identify themselves as introverts and/or highly sensitive people.
I have also recently completed a specialized training in working with HSP's, and am listed on Dr. Aaron's website (hsperson.com), as an HSP knowledgeable therapist.
