I am a licensed clinical social worker with nearly twenty years of experience treating children, adolescents, young adults and adults. My clients often come to therapy looking for relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as pervasive negative thinking patterns and behaviors. These issues adversely impact the quality of day to day functioning and interpersonal relationships. In therapy, we work together to understand the root cause of the identified issues. This greater understanding helps us identify which coping mechanisms may be used to improve daily functioning.
I provide a warm, supportive therapeutic environment where we work together to achieve established goals. I actively participate in sessions to help guide the process. My interventions are varied (psychodynamic, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy) and individually based.
