My goal is to encourage a more peaceful personal, work, and home environment. When meeting with me, you will receive support that is friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and down to earth. I utilize time efficient methods supported by research for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also provide support around grief in the loss of a family member, friend, or issues surrounding pregnancy loss. Treatment for each client and family is highly individualized, based around interests, learning style, and family belief systems.
I listen closely to each client's needs, providing a safe place to process, while also recommending activities and interventions that can be helpful in between sessions. These activities may include relaxation strategies, adding or changing your exercise routine, or written exercises, depending on a client's needs and preferences.
In addition, I train and support other clinicians in addressing trauma, anxiety, and depression in therapy. When my caseload is full, I have a wonderful network of clinicians that work with me, and we work to find the best fit for you. I am also an Emdria Approved Consultant for EMDR and provide consultation for other EMDR therapists.
