I am trained as a child psychologist and work with children, infants through adolescence. I am also a marital therapist, and bring a knowledge of nonverbal communication research, infant research, mindfulness practice, and relationship research to the work that I do with couples and families. I am an experienced Divorce Coach and Child Specialist in Collaborative Divorce, as well as a trained mediator and negotiator. I focus on system dynamics in relationships, be they partner, family or business relationships, and strive to help people cope with conflict engagement. I'm also available for consultation for witness preparation.
I do play therapy with young children, relational work with older children and adults;focus on neurobiology and the mind-body connection in all therapy work;EMDR for trauma-related issues;coaching (life skills, business negotiations and/or divorce); mediation and problem resolution; psychological and neuropsych/educational testing; consultation.
Specialty-trained in Neuropsychological testing for learning disabilities in children, attend CSE meetings to support recommendations. NY State Supreme and Family Court neutral Custody evaluator-Expert Witness testimony. Divorce Coaching; Movement/Somatic therapy work with Pain. Dispute resolution. MA evaluations of parents and children.
