Clients work with me to find the person hidden behind the protective walls they have built up to feel safe. They need, and want, to feel close to family and friends again but are scared it might not work out in their favor. Their goals are often to love themselves, speak up for themselves, and know they are capable no matter how hard life may be in this season. My clients want to let the past be the past and have their future go the way they've envisioned for so long. I enjoy working across the lifespan with anyone ready to improve issues with anxiety, depression, focus, or self-worth.

Some of my favorite issues to unwind are attachment wounds, parenting, birth trauma, and medical trauma. I’m certified in EMDR and Progressive Counting, and also use DNMS Ego State Therapy, Sandtray, and Play Therapy. Deep Brain Reorienting is available as a gentler, somatic, transformational option.

I keep our check-in brief and then get to deeper issues right away, at the end of the session I help clients feel ready to move into the rest of the day. I ensure that social supports and coping skills are present to set a good foundation for treatment. Trauma work starts as soon as we are ready, and if we need to pause or slow down that's okay, memories are ready to be healed when we are.

I offer individual therapy on a weekly basis as well as intensives. I encourage you to consider an intensive session as it often results in faster relief of symptoms. Intensives allow for less interruptions to the treatment process and reduce avoidance of difficult subjects in therapy.
