Due to my extensive medical background as a nurse and as a stage IV metastatic breast cancer survivor since 2015, I know the ins and outs of procedures, surgeries, and other conventional practices. I also know a great deal about natural or alternative modalities to help move through this arduous process. I have also been a Christian for over 30 years and have homeschooled three children. I enjoy working with individuals who are keen to learn more about healing, not just mentally, but emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They want the light bulb to come on, and I listen while the client decides how to make impactful changes.
With my nursing background and studying a great deal of biochemistry, I see the connection with diet, lifestyle, nutritional choices, and stress, and how it impacts mental health. I know various modalities and what can be done to shift the course of this trajectory. I also believe that God wants us well and there are actionable steps we can take.
With my diverse nursing background, I can relate to chronic disease and have a compassionate understanding of life's struggles. For those with co-morbidities, there is much that can be done to improve cognitive, physical, and spiritual functionality. Having persevered through a diagnosis where I was being referred to Hospice care, I never gave up.
