I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. If you have made it to my page, then you might be going through a difficult time or know someone who is. You have come to the right place. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Illinois and California with over thirteen years of experience working in the field of mental health. I have held Registered Recovery Worker, Lead Case Manager, Outpatient Therapist and Clinical Social Worker roles in a variety of health care settings. With me, you can expect a therapist who is caring, direct and down to earth. I am empathic, skilled and value creating a safe therapeutic environment.
I really enjoy assisting people in meeting their goals. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and base my theoretical approach off of a personalized assessment. I often use Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem Solving, Solution Focused, Emotion Focused, Person Centered and Bowen Systems Therapy among others.
