Therapy is so much more than the act of talking and assessing the mind. Therapy is a limitless place to explore one’s own reality and how it relates to others, and the world. Therapy can be found in somatic expression, in various forms of art, in connection with nature, and in the healing of self, and relationship with others. As an environmentalist, practitioner of yoga, and dancer, I value both traditional and alternative forms of healing that focus on the utmost well-being of the client(s).
My approach puts the client as the expert of their experiences, offering them the agency to be a full participant in their change, growth, and healing. Through mindfulness, empowerment, non-judgement, and acceptance, my clients and I work as a team to collaborate on the forms of therapy that best suits them.
Because of my background, I am able to work with a diverse range of individuals and relationships alike. I work from a trauma-informed lens with inclusive and affirmative care, and have goals to work with queer folks, heterosexual couples/individuals, folks in alternative relationship structures, and both men and women struggling with power dynamics.
