Welcome! I work with people who struggle with perfectionism, anxiety, eating disorders and the transition to parenthood. I love supporting people with quieting the mind and decreasing inhibition. I also love helping people work through past experiences and figure out what it would look like to more fully live your life in the present.
My style is warm, curious and active. I believe in the healing power of having a safe space to talk with someone who can help you understand why things may be feeling the way they are feeling. I also get in there alongside you - helping you heal through the use of exploratory questions, mindfulness and somatic work, and the practice of new skills.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I taught creative writing in educational and community settings. I value curiosity and the importance of healing, seeking and learning.
