As a trauma specialist and former Program Director at McLean Hospital, I have gained deep respect for clients' painful struggles as well as for their strength, resilience, and capacity for growth. I have extensive experience treating Complex PTSD and related issues (e.g. dissociation, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders) in a variety of treatment settings. My work is individualized, thoughtful, and always carefully paced to maximize clients' functioning.
I have advanced training in diverse models including psychodynamic treatment and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, integrating models and tailoring treatment to the individual. I consider each client's problems, needs, and preferences as we embark on our work together and create a safe, supportive environment where self-knowledge and change can develop.
