For the past 20 years I have been working, researching and helping people. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Toronto and Doctorate is in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University, San Diego. My training includes children, teenagers, adults, elderly, couples in the areas of chronic pain, addictions, depression, anxiety & cultural/ethnic issues.
My approach to treatment is based on creating a supportive, validating and compassionate alliance whereby we can begin therapy from a place of confidence and trust. I have incorporated various styles of practice, including insight oriented, cognitive behavioral, and integrative, to guide people so they can better understand themselves.
