My ideal client is a child, adolescent or adult who is high-functioning, reflective, and motivated for change—but feels emotionally stuck. They may be a student, professional, parent, or caregiver who appears okay on the outside yet struggles internally. They are often insightful but overwhelmed, and they’ve reached a point where coping on their own is no longer working. Most people struggle with emotional & cognitive challenges, interpersonal & relationship difficulties, low motivation and their ability to sustain change. They want relief from constant worry and emotional tension and need a therapist who respects their autonomy.
Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma-focused Care, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and address the underlying factors that contribute to distress.
