I offer indiv., group sessions, EAP, custody evaluations, case management, anger/stress management, certified domestic violence batterer's intervention counseling, alcohol/drug treatment, including SMART non-12-Step & cognitive therapies. Inpatient evals & referrals & post-discharge continuing care & family therapy targeting "failure to launch" young adult issues. Most insurance accepted.
With 20 years' experience in interventions, residential & outpatient treatment, I work closely with families, teens, young adults, couples and employers to change patterns of destructive interaction that prevent healing and ongoing recovery. I am trained in EMDR, cognitive therapies, and crisis intervention and stabilization. Self-injury/cutting also treated.
Concierge therapy for temporary transitional clients (business, military and temporary employment assignment individuals in crisis); certified; interventions planned & performed in homes and workplace; SMART non-12-Step treatment available. Treatment for Internet/cyber addiction, compulsive gambling & spending, substance abuse, pornography addiction. Random testing testing available 5 days a week.

Substance abuse, Internet, gambling outpatient treatment for teens, adults, families & couples seeking relief from addictive disorders, plus continuing care/aftercare following inpatient treatment discharge. Co-occurring (Dual Diagnosis) disorders group also available; Thursday noon group available in Frederick; Wed. 7 and Thurs. 7:30 treatment groups; Evaluations accepted from other providers within 30 days of date of evaluation; otherwise, pre-admission evaluations by appt. required. Mt. Airy Wed. 7 group also available. Relapse prevention/continuing care offered. Indiv. sessions and family sessions also available by appt. Insurance accepted and sliding scale fee available. Medicare and Tricare not accepted.
