I work with teens and young adults who are facing depression, anxiety, exploring their identity, and may have urges toward self-harm or suicidal thoughts. You might feel overwhelmed, unsafe inside your own skin, or unsure how to speak about what you are experiencing. Perhaps mood swings, stress, or parts of yourself feel too heavy or too hard to share. In the midst of inner chaos and pain it can feel like you are completely alone. I want you to know that you are not alone and I am ready to listen. I use a strengths based, compassionate approach that honors you as a whole person. In our sessions I draw on evidence based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while offering validation, gentle challenge, empathy, & occasional humor. Together we explore what hurts, what is possible, & build coping skills and emotional tools for change.
Through our work you may gain more confident, function better with daily living skills, & feel safer. You may gain insight into yourself, utilize coping skills, & reduce suffering.
