With a focus on complex trauma and queer and transgender adults and teens, I believe that early experiences and ongoing structural contexts greatly impact daily life. I work from a relational psychoanalytic lens with a background in somatics. Together these offer exploratory questions and tools for navigating emotional pain, feelings of numbness, and relationship distress. There is no one way to relate to the past, embody our feelings, or find healing. In therapy, we find a way for you together. My role is to hold curiosity, rigor, and care throughout your own self-discovery.
I frequently work with those who are navigating complex trauma (CPTSD) symptoms or who struggle with perfectionism, shame, dissociation, and self-worth. I welcome themes related to belonging, grief, gender dysphoria, non-monogamy, BDSM/kink, mood disorders and chronic illness. I offer individual as well as relationship or couples therapy.
