About
I have expertise in working with individuals who experience intense emotions that often lead to difficulties in interpersonal relationships, behaviors that they find themselves regretting later, and intense self-criticism, shame and hopelessness. I am committed to genuinely and radically accepting my clients in order to help them experience real and measurable changes in their life.
I specialize in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and DBT-informed therapy in my work with adults and adolescents who have difficulties with emotions that get in the way of important life goals. In addition, I have a sub-speciality in working with siblings of individuals with mental illness.
In addition to DBT, I have been trained in multiple therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and depression and Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma. I also offer DBT supervision to clinicians interested in improving their DBT skillset.
