I will collaborate with you, drawing upon modalities such as CBT, DBT, and other approaches to find a solution that works best. My specialties include adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationships, and sexuality. I have extensive experience working with addiction and substance abuse at the Southeast Addiction Center, and I’ve been certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), an eye-movement technique for PTSD.
In my work as a therapist I draw upon my training, my years of lived experience, and a deep sense of empathy in order to help you find your own path in our complicated world. Underlying my therapeutic approach is a strong belief in the strengths perspective, and the recognition that you are the expert in your own story.
I’m a husband, father, musician, artist, writer, and therapist. After spending most of my working life in the corporate sector, I went back to school when I realized my calling to work with people to help them overcome their individual challenges. I see clients in-person at Heartwork Counseling Center, or by telehealth. I also offer "walk & talk" sessions.
