Hello. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and received my graduate degree from Texas Tech University. I believe my life experience interacting with different people allows me to provide a distinctive perspective. My goal as a counselor is to assist you in becoming the best you possible. And you are the determining factor in who and what you want to become.
The first session will be dedicated to getting to know each other, reducing any nervousness, and discussing your goals for these sessions. Based on this information an individualized plan will be developed so progress can be monitored.
Empathy is one of my strengths. I have an innate ability to listen, not just hear, but listen. Sometimes what needs to be discussed is hidden in what is not said or in body language. I will help you in making the needed decisions, or even how to make those decisions. At times we get stuck and an objective, non judgmental perspective is helpful.
