I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rochester, NY Monday-Thursday and in Livonia, NY every other Friday and Saturday. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety; depressive symptoms; substance use; impulse control; adjusting to both positive and/or negative changes in their life; and the LGBTQ+ Community.
My approach to therapy involves starting where the client is and following their lead in identifying goals and objectives for their treatment. I also believe validating the client's issues/concerns not only helps develop a positive therapeutic relationship but also helps the client manage the change and/or transition effectively.
