As the former clinical director of a community behavioral health in Anchorage, I have experience providing therapy to a range of ages including: children, youth, families and adults experiencing a variety of challenges. I work with youth who experience disruptive behaviors, acting out, and substance use. I provide care to individuals who have experienced trauma/ abuse, mood disorders, and the autism spectrum. I also provide forensic psychological evaluations for the court, and neuropsychological assessments illuminating an individuals treatment needs.
My specialty is working with individuals who engage in sexually problematic behavior, behavior that has caused strain in an individuals relationships or a behavior they would like help stopping. Additionally, I work with teens who have have sexually offended, and I am a DOC approved sexual offender treatment provider.
I provide therapy in a straight forward supportive manner, partnering with clients, and using research supported practices to help them find solutions for the challenges in their lives. My treatment approach balances the individuals journey of self-exploration, learning new skills and becoming accountable for ones actions.
