These classes include an initial block of 5 classes that include basic communication skills, child development and discipline strategies. The group process enables women to address personal issues in an honest, supportive, therapeutic environment. The group therapy process facilitates change by mobilizing internal resources, recognizing environmental influences, identifying practical strategies and examining personal choices. In general, group therapy provides a supportive, collaborative, & confidential community.
