I believe that each client is the expert on their own life; and that therapy provides the opportunity to help each client unlock their full potential through asking the right questions and using therapeutic tools to help them unlock their potential.
I believe that we heal in the context of relationship and connection, and that the therapeutic process and relationship can help to facilitate that healing.
I use a variety of Evidence-Based therapeutic techniques including: Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, Gestalt Therapy, and others.
My background is in Addictions Counseling, which led me into counseling for trauma healing and a wider variety of Mental Health modalities. My desire is to connect with each client on a level that helps to empower growth and change; while using therapeutic tools to help facilitate that process.
