What does growth and progress look like to you? With collaboration, curiosity, and encouragement we can achieve it. If you have made it here, you have already taken the first step in lightening your load. I love to work with all ages, and believe that everyone is capable of change and self advocacy. I have been working with children and families for six years and have helped them work through issues related to ADHD, ASD, trauma, LGBTQIA identity, substance use, depression, anxiety, and more. These can be severe situations where families feel they have tried everything, or dealing with family transitions and needing guidance.
I love to help families and individuals come up with creative and individualized coping strategies that bring back function to relationships and the things we do as humans. I recognize it can be tough to sit down in an office to talk, so I enjoy experiential styles. Depending on your interests, we can bring in art, play, or nature therapy.
Counseling works best when there is a good match between you and your counselor. My hope is to provide a safe space where you or your child feel comfortable to process and work towards positive change. The world is throwing a lot at us, we can build skills to manage and navigate the systems we are in.
